• Pirin folklore dances – authentic steps and basic moves of different horo types (Krashikalijsko, Lito, Trachi-lazi, Tup-tan, Chetvorka-za pojas, Shirto, Ormanli, Kavrak, Kantelino, Eleno mome, Gajda Avasi and others) – with live music.
• • Singing in two voices – typical of the Pirin region (learning about the principles of two-voice singing and the local songs – harvest-time, bee-time, comitski and horo).
• Playing traditional instruments and learning about their principle (tambura, tarambuka, Pirin gaida, dvoianka).
• Weaving – weaving on razboi (a horizontal loom), weaving and ornamenting techniques, dyeing with natural materials.
• Iconography
• For the children and their parents – hourly lectures and folklore classes (dances, songs, instruments, music) – learn something new.

Short Program – (in a wine cellar, mehana or a restaurant), suitable for wine tasting events and small groups (3-8 persons) – musical performance in the background (2-4 musical pieces). Price: 120 BGN

Standard Program – suitable for large groups, a lunch or a dinner in a restaurant is included. Explanations about the instruments, costumes and history. The group will be brought close to the traditions and the local spirit (5-8 musical pieces, dances, different instruments). Price: 170 BGN

Connoisseur Program – suitable for all groups with cultural accent, to whom folklore and traditions are important as a philosophy and a lifestyle. Includes the Standard Program and additional musical performances, as well as detailed presentation of all the instruments, their principle, and also the costumes and their place in the local culture. Explanation of the songs and their meaning. Lyrics translation. Under Leb i Vino`s instructions the group will try to dance a horo – a traditional dance, comprehensively explained to the participants. If they wish, they could also play some of the instruments. • Anti-stress programs, based on Pirin Mountain traditions- dances, songs, music, hand-weaving, iconography, painting. Our ancestors have been practicing these arts for centuries. You too can enjoy their relaxing effect. Today it is fashionable for one to be traditional.
• Workshop – lectures and classes in traditional arts and skills.

The Spirit of Ancient Melnik Package is the most original way for you and your guests to experience the traditions from the past, presented profesionally.

It includes a folklore program with live music, fascinating stories about the culture of the Macedonian region, combined with delicious food, so typical of Melnik , that had satiated our ancestors for hundreds of years.

We do not offer you just a made-up tourist product, but invite you to feel like one of us, being a guest of the Kamenarov family (Formation Leb i Vino – artists, whose cultural activity is significant to the region and outside it) and Menchev Family, whose house has a 200 year history (Mehana Mencheva Kushta – Menchev House Inn).

The lunch or dinner for tourist groups is specially arranged on a common table, traditional for the hospitable welcome in the Macedonian region.

There is a choice of dishes:

• Salads (platter): been salad, mushroom salad, country salad, lutenitsa (homemade puree from tomatoes and peppers), kyopoolu (eggplant puree)
• Soups: Nettle, been, spinach, papuda, lentils, tarator, chalbur, tomato
• Appetizers (platter): Lentils and been balls, breaded strained yoghurt, breaded peppers with eggs and cheese
• Pastry (2 loafs by choice): Vita banitsa (round cheese pastry), lojena banitsa, zelnik (leek pastry), tikvenik (pumpkin pastry)
• Main course (3 platters with 4 portions each): kavarma, katino meze, bismemka, brakadan, purjenitsa, meat with eggs
• Desert (3 types, 4 portions from each type): chuchnala banitsa, lokumena banitsa (Turkish delight pastry), baklava, sheep yoghurt, jam from green figs, jam from ripe figs, rechel, baked pumpkin
• Pogacha (Traditional bread) or sesame loafs
• Wine, rakia and water

The pleasant setting of Mencheva Kushta (Menchev House) is complemented by Leb I Vino`s musical performances.
